The name “Greek Yogurt” applies to two very different things. The first is “Greek-style”, which is yogurt that has been strained to remove the majority of the whey, making a very thick & creamy yogurt. This is the variety that you would most often find in grocery stores, this “Greek-style” yogurt is not necessarily made with Greek Yogurt Cultures.
The second variety of Greek Yogurt is produced with the specific bacteria for Greek yogurt. Our starter cultures are 100% Greek Yogurt in its purest form with nothing added or altered!
